Good morning and happy Thursday!

One of my mentors recently posted about how this shift in mindset transformed his business.

It really spoke to me.

It’s such a simple shift, but very powerful.

And I’d like to share it with you.

 

Firstly, I want you to imagine your ideal prospect (customer avatar) as a butterfly.

You need to catch the butterfly or else you’ll never be able to live the laptop lifestyle.

We ideally only have two ways of catching the butterfly.

1. Grab a net and jar?

2. Grab a flower 🌺

Which one do you think would work better?

Successful people ask, “How can I attract that butterfly” – Answer?…the flower.

While the less successful guy, who can still manage to get the butterfly at some point (not on the right terms), goes with the net.

Which leaves me with a question.

Why exert our energy on catching things when we can just put the flower there and let it come to us?

Ditch the net…

And start thinking in terms of “How can I attract?”

Focus on providing value and helping others and the butterflies will come.

Less chasing. More creating!
